I am taking the position of Severstal SSC CEO since June 2010. Our work tasks and projects are complex, ambitious and very inspiring! We are not being put into limits – we always let our people demonstrate their potential and creativity!
The most important take way that I have from eleven-year tenure with the Company Severstal and my life experience is that the success is defined by the inner feeling when the Individual is happy himself/ herself about the work they completed … and when all value principles are met. … and when one succeeds in coming up with innovative ideas… ideas that at some point were hard even to imagine but nowadays are put in life.
The key is not where you are now, the key is where you want and aim to be tomorrow. I would advise you to appreciate the opportunities to be innovative, which eventually opens up the opportunities to change the world. All the appraisals – such as position, reputation and rewards – will follow.

After a week of staying with Severstal SSC I realized how diverse and interesting the accounting activities could be and how many growth opportunities can be still achieved.
When selecting an employee, I put two main criteria forward – the team spirit and career growth opportunities.
The best “teacher” is, of course, the hands-on experience, however a strong theory has to be at the basis. I joined Severstal SSC in 2011. The main criteria which I defined for myself when selecting an employee were the scale of business and career opportunities.
… Geographical scale of my work activities is not only a reflection of the scale of Severstal SSC but at the same time is the reflection of career opportunities spectrum – in case if you want to grow professionally and bring your responsibilities to the next level.The interesting point is that when you are investing into the Company’s development – consequently, you are growing professionally – for example, it can be seen when opening up and leading a new project requiring to take the regional and processes specifics into an account. When being involved into complex problem solving – one can reach new career heights, contribute to Severstal SSC credentials portfolio and think through of new business opportunities for our clients.
